Biography

     Haley Cavazos is a sophomore Journalism student at The University of Texas at Austin.  She was born and raised in Texas and she is proud of it.  She attended Frisco High School in Frisco, Texas and graduated in the top 8% of her class.  After graduating, there was no debate of where she would end up.  Even though she is starting to figure out what she wants to do with her life, she knows that she came to the right school and the right city.  She could not be happier.

     Haley’s dream job would be working on the design side of any publication, print or online or anything in TV broadcasting.  She has volunteered at TSTV on campus and helped start up a new show for the network.  She helps with camera work, directing, and writing for the show.  She has made several multimedia projects, starting with a Soundslide project exploring the benefits of napping on campus and ending with a video project taking a look at how online networking has affected relationships.  

     Other than writing and designing, Haley loves inspiration and expressing her thoughts.  She does this through her music and dance.  She also loves to read about today’s fashion and pop culture, because everyone dreams of becoming famous, right? It is safe to say that Haley is a lover of life, romance, family and friends.
